1: Medical Assistant – United Health Group Careers

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Performs all duties within the scope of a Medical Assistant’s practice. Operates diagnostic equipment (cannot interpret tests), remove staples from superficial wounds, changes wound dressing and obtains cultures, administers non-intravenous medication, performs simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques and collects blood specimens via venipuncture or via capillary, performs EKGs. Performs quality control checks on equipment. Prepares and sterilizes medical equipment using the autoclave
  • Rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patients for examination
  • Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards, and policies
  • Respects patient confidentiality at all times and treat patients with courtesy and respect
  • Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms, and sterilizes instruments
  • Practices standard infection control precautions
  • Telephone and in-person screening is limited to the intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledge
  • Supports and follows Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO)
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications: 

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 180 days of employment. Medical Assistants who are hired prior to receiving their certification are expected to perform at the same level as a “certified” Medical Assistant
  • Current BLS certification for healthcare providers (written exam and in-person assessment) at time of hire or within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Basic computer literacy with intermediate Excel skills
  • This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor’s diagnosis of disease
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:


  • 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
  • Bilingual
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Good communication and customer service skills

2: Software Engineer – United Health Group Careers

Primary Responsibilities:     


  • Accountable for the delivery and reporting of several Scrum Teams within a Program
  • Establishing program-level cadence and driving program-level ceremonies (e.g., PMC Planning, Sprint retrospectives, backlog refinement)
  • Work with other program leaders to drive the definition and refinement of the program backlog
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to the Scrum Master at the team level
  • Ensure cross-value stream coordination and collaboration
  • Serve as an escalation for impediment removal for the Scrum Master
  • Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on program-level progress and quality
  • Act as a liaison to assigned program manager and project managers. Take responsibility for managing dependencies between the program team and third parties, release managers, or between the team and other scrum teams
  • Develop, coach, and mentor team members to advance their skills and career
  • Provide real time feedback to the methodology team based on experiences with software delivery teams

  • 5+ years of experience working in software development ideally on analytics projects
  • Understanding of website performance metrics

  • Understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and driving incremental changes
  • Knowledge of how to write/modify queries in SQL or similar query systems
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of how business and IT interact and operate together as Product Team
  • Experienced in the delivery of technology solutions and understanding business requirements on fast paced projects

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience with various monitoring concepts/tools, including Synthetic, Real User Monitoring using tools such as Grafana, New Relic, Data Dog, Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.
  • Understanding of best-in-class website operations
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare, Insurance or Financial Services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to modernize operations that resulted in reducing incidents and automating manual tasks through modern reliability engineering
  • Proven ability to be results-oriented with a high level of emotional intelligence, solid communication and interpersonal skills, outstanding collaboration, solid influence and consensus building
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective
